LIVING Fund

The Fund is divided into two autonomous asset compartments (the “Sub-Funds”), the “LIVING – DEVELOPMENT” and the “LIVING – MANAGEMENT”.

 

Sub-fund DEVELOPMENT

The purpose of this Sub-fund is to invest exclusively in majority shareholdings of companies established under Portuguese law, which purpose is to manage the development of portfolios of residential units (MFR and SFR Portfolios) in areas with potential for rental and tourism. Once the development is completed, the Sub-Fund DEVELOPMENT will divest, and may assign its LIVING I – Management Rules participation to the Sub-Fund MANAGEMENT, or to another entity, if this transaction presents a higher return.

 

Sub-fund MANAGEMENT

The purpose of this Sub-fund is to invest exclusively in majority shareholdings – preferably majority shareholdings – of companies established under Portuguese law, which purpose is to manage the development of portfolios of residential units (MFR and SFR Portfolios) in areas with potential for rental and tourism and once the investment is completed and the appropriate size has been achieved, the Sub-Fund will divest. The operation of the Sub-Fund MANAGEMENT may target companies held by the Sub-Fund  DEVELOPMENT or other companies existing and already operating.

Subscribing the Sub-fund Management also provides the possibility of owning a chosen residential unit, at the end of the Golden Visa period.

The GV investors can only subscribe the Sub-fund MANAGEMENT, avoiding being involved in the Development phase, investing in the Residential units only when they are ready and benefiting from its appreciation and rental income.

Sub-fund MANAGEMENT

The Sub-fund MANAGEMENT will provide the Golden Visa investor the possibility to own a specific chosen asset at the end of the Golden Visa Period.

Also provides the possibility of committing to an investment of less than €500K and invest the remaining in Fund CERES I (Food Retail), which has a buy back option at the end of the Golden Visa Period and a return of up to 4% per year — goldenvisaretail.fund

António Vieira da Silva

FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER

António is founder and managing partner of Business Setting and of Magnify. During the past 18 years, he has worked as an International Consultant in Business Development and/or Turnaround projects, in more than 30 countries. He is also an invited associate professor at the IUL – Business School.

With +30 years experience, he has carried out the following functions among others: Advisor to the Chairman of the BoD and Executive Committee of Galp Energia; Business Turnaround Manager, Royal Dutch / Shell Group, based in The Hague; Member of the Board of Directors of Shell Portugal and Iberia; and has been member of the BoD of several companies.

Pedro Ortigão Correia

MANAGING PARTNER

Former Board Member of a specialist Asian bank based out of Lisbon. Joined Merrill Lynch in London in 1998, working as an analyst in different functions, until becoming Director on the asset management side and responsible for the Portuguese coverage.

In 2005, he joined Fidelity as a Director, responsible for opening the Portuguese office. Later in 2009, started an independent consultancy firm, working with Robeco, Credit Agricole and Dimensional before becoming Managing Partner of ASK, a multi family office with offices in Lisbon, Sao Paulo, Luanda and Macao. He then became Vice President of AICEP, the Portuguese trade and investment government agency, reporting directly to the Vice Prime Minister.

Edgar Pedro

MANAGING PARTNER

Edgar Pedro is a co-founder and managing partner of GPAtlantic. Until 2014 he worked as a construction director in Portugal and Brazil. Since 2015 he has been working as an investor and/or project manager in the Real Estate Club Deals format, contributing to the structuring, development and management of real estate projects in the Residential, Commercial and Alternative Assets (Student Residences) segments.

With two post-graduations, one in Coordination of Labour Safety in Construction and the other in Management and Real Estate Evaluation from ISEG, Edgar is also a Civil Engineer, senior member of the Ordem dos Engenheiros and member of the Concelho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia in Brazil.

Frederico Ressano Garcia

MANAGING PARTNER

Frederico Ressano Garcia is a co-founder and managing partner of GPAtlantic. Until 2008 he worked in Portugal in the Capital Markets and Mortgage Banking of BBVA. Between 2008 and 2014, Frederico was Manager of Ask Brazil and Investment manager at Cushman & Wakefield Brazil. In 2015, he started his own business, leading Real Estate Club Deals in several urban rehabilitation projects in Lisbon.

Frederico holds a degree in Business Administration at Universidade Calólica Portuguesa and an MBA for senior Manager at BBVA from IE.
